Youth

God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how
you have shown your love to him by caring for other/young believers, as you still
do.

Hebrews 6:10

Youth need the church—and the church needs youth. St. James youth bring passion and leadership to our community. St. James Church asks families to support youth ministries.

In two ways:

  • Encourage your children to attend Sunday School and church regularly.
  • Volunteer to assist with ACYO or special youth projects. Contact Father Yeghishe to volunteer.

Youth receive the following benefits:

  • Being part of a group can help young people develop important personal and interpersonal skills.
  • Help young people gain self-confidence and self-esteem.
  • Help reduce the risk of becoming involved in unsafe activities, such as using drugs and alcohol.
  • St. James Youth organizations offer opportunities for leadership and creativity that young people might not get otherwise.
